Prabhas' new film begins shoot

It is known that Prabhas has a film scheduled with Koratala Shiva, the script-writer who is to a director with his film. The film, which is tentatively as Vaaradhi, started off yesterday and a few scenes were reportedly shot in at the Police Academy establishment in Hyderabad.

The film stars Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyaya in the leads. It is jointly produced by Pramod Uppalapati and Vamikrishna Reddy.

The star seems to have taken a break from his Rebel schedule. The high-profile film is also scheduled to release early next year. However, not much is heard about the movie these days. This owes to the fact that the makers are preferring to not go gung-ho creating a hype about the film. Nevertheless, the audience have full faith on the talent of both Lawrence Raghava and Prabhas, who are in their best form at present.

If Rebel becomes a hit, it would be a shot in the arm for Koratala Shiva.

Prabhas to Attend Venkatesh Bodyguard Audio Event on Dec 13

The audio launch of Victory Venkatesh starrer Bodyguard is set on December 13 at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad. Venkatesh Birthday also falls on the same day, so makers are planning for special arrangements; in order greet the actor on the event stage itself in front of his fans. Latest news is that Young Rebel star Prabhas is going to grace the audio event as chief guests.

Prabhas-Rajamouli Combo Movie Produced By Shobu Yarlagadda

Young rebel star Prabhas and Rajamouli combination film has been confirmed and is going to be produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, who is currently producing Pawan kalyan’s Panjaa. Producer has confirmed the news about this prestigious project on a social networking site. The regular shooting of this most anticipated movie will starts from April, 2012. Rajamouli has readied a powerful script for Prabhas. According to latest buzz, the movie is a mass action entertainer. Both Rajamouli and Prabhas have collectively worked earlier for Chatrapathi, which is a blockbuster at that time.


Rajamouli seems busy with the post- production and graphic works of his upcoming movie Eega, which is going to hit the screens in March, 2012. Prabhas is currently busy with his forthcoming stylish action entertainer called Rebel, directed by Raghava Lawrence. Prabhas has also signed another movie titled Varadhi, under the direction of Koratala Siva. This movie will hit the floors in coming December.

Rebel in Trouble!

Prabhas’s Rebel, whose final 70day long schedule was to start on November 5 hasn’t gone to floors even after November 15. The Project is in a total mess after differences erupted between the Producers, Director & Hero after replacing Anushka with Tamanna. The film, sources say will not have any schedules this year unless some one come forward to takeover the project.

The producers are already in discussions with Bellamkonda Suresh for a takeover proposal but he is too busy with Bodyguard and is going to wait and watch till Sankranthi gets over. On the other side Prabhas and Tamanna are proceding with their other commitments. Prabhas will start shooting for ‘Vaaradhi’ from December. It looks like Rebel is going to delayed by 2-3 months and will not release even for Summer 2012!.

Prabhas-Rajamouli New Project On Cards

Rebel star Prabhas who is currently busy with his upcoming films Rebel band Varadhi, is soon going to act under direction of star director Rajamouli Actually Prabhas thought of doing movie under Rajamouli direction after finishing Rebel movie. But Rajamouli is currently busy with high visual graphic oriented movie Eega and the project is consuming more time than expected. So Prabhas had signed another movie Varadhi, under Koratala Siva direction.


According to sources the movie is said to be a high voltage entertainer with never seen backdrop. The details about concept of this project are kept secret by Rajamouli and he doesn’t want to reveal it now. The details about this project would be announced by him after the release of Eega.

The film in the combo of Prabhas & Koratala Siva to be produced by UV Creations will be titled as 'Vaaradhi'. The makers have already registered the same and it is more or less a confirmed title for the film which stars Anushka & Richa opposite Prabhas.

Rebel Shooting Halts After Lawrence Fell Sick

Rebel movie shooting was going on at a brisk pace until it was put on halt temporarily owing to its director Raghava Lawrence’s illness.
The well-known dance choreographer and director is reportedly suffering from a viral fever. However, the film’s crew is expecting him to get back to work next week. His previous acting and directing venture Kanchana has already turned out to be a massive hit.
The lead roles of Rebel movie cast is played by Prabhas, Tamanna and Deeksha. The movie is being produced under the banner of Sri Balaji Cine Media by J Bhagavan and J Pulla Rao. Thaman composes the music.

Rebel Cynosure of buyers' eyes

They say, nothing succeeds like success. With a hero like Prabhas, who has two back-to-back hits (Darling and Mr. Perfect) and a director like Lawrence Raghava (with Muni and Kanchana in his kitty), Rebel has come to be the cynosure of the buyers' eyes.

The film could go for a big amount, say trade pundits.

Meanwhile, there is scepticism also. The director's last two straight Telugu films, namely Style and Don, did not give profits to its makers. As the result, the director has so far had to rest on the Mass laurels.

In any case, Larencce's Kanchana fetched its producer in Telugu, Bellamkonda Suresh, four times more than what he invested. This statistic makes Rebel the buyers' envy.

Rajamouli gives Prabhas Full T-Time

It has been too late that prabhas is working on ‘Rebel’ directed by Raghava Lawrence. The film which was actually planned for a release by November or December looks no where to be a possibility in near future. Anushka and Richa with Prabhas

Earlier informed that Mirapakaya actress Richa Gangopadhyay has been zeroed in to play one of the heroines alongside Prabhas in his new film to be directed by Koratala Siva.

Now, the latest news is the voluptuous beauty Anushka has been signed for the leading lady role. The duo has earlier teamed up for Billa and set the screens on fire with their igniting chemistry.

So, the Young Rebel Star will be romancing two hot ladies Anushka and Richa in his next flick. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati will produce the film on the banner of UV Creations. Devi Sri Prasad will render the tunes for the film. The regular shoot of this untitled film will commence in a couple of days.

Richa to pair with Prabhas

Young Rebel Star Prabhas will soon pair up alongside Richa Gangopadhyaya in his next film in the direction of Koratala Siva. Richa will play the leading lady role in the movie.

Richa was last seen in Ravi Teja’s Mirapakay and the actress hasn’t signed any of the Telugu films till date. Now, she is zeroed in for this Prabhas film. However, the actress has a couple of Kollywood films with the top actors Simbhu and Dhanush. Recently, Richa has also bagged a Bollywood offer.

V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati will produce the Telugu film under the banner of UV Creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad is zeroed in to compose the music for the film.

Prabhas’ birthday a family affair

 

Actor Prabhas, who is celebrating his birthday today, is not throwing a big party. He has decided to spend time with his family. He will celebrate with uncle and veteran actor Krishnam Raju’s family and a few others. “He has no other plans as he resolved to spend time with his family this birthday since he was busy shooting for the last 10 months,” says a source, close to him.

The actor is basking in the glory of back-to-back hits Darling and Mr Perfect and is on a hat trick with Rebel, which he has started shooting. Contrary to their flamboyant on screen image, most stars give priority to their close ones and don’t mind being branded home birds.

Prabhas and Anushka featured in Billa some time ago are back again. They will star for Koratala Siva’s first directorial venture to be started soon in this month. Anushka has actually paired with Prabahs for Rebel but she walked out in middle replaced by Tamanna. Presently she is working with Nagarjuna for Damarukam.

Prabhas, Koratala Siva Combo Movie Opening

Prabhas’s new film in the direction of Koratala Siva was launched today in the presence of several film personalities. Prabhas’s friend V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapaati are jointly produced this film under U V Creations banner introducing Koratala Siva as director.

For the muhurat shot VV Vinayak tapped the clap board while MM Keeravani switched on the camera and the first shot was directed by Dil Raju. The regular shooting of this full-fledged entertainer will begin in November. SS Rajamouli, Vakkanta Vamsi, ‘Oh My Friend’ director Venu, writers Muchcha Ravi, Vakkantham Vamsi, art director Ravinder, producers Sireesh, Lakshman, Gemini Kiran, Bunny Vasu, etc., participated.

Prabhas’s new film with noted dialogue writer Koratala Siva has been announced.and the movie will go into production from the third week of October. The movie is being produced on UV creations banner and Vamsi Krishna Reddy is jointly producing this film along with Pramod Uppalapati.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for this film and two top heroines have been roped in to play female leads opposite Prabhas.The movie will be a commercial entertainer with an action backdrop.

After super hit films like ‘Darling’ and ‘Mr Perfect’, Prabhas has joined hands with Lawrence for his next venture titled ‘Rebel’. J Bhagavan and J Pulla Rao are jointly producing this flick under Sri Balaji Cine Media banner. Right now the shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. A few comedy scenes involving Prabhas and Brahmanandam are being canned which will be followed by a song picturisation on Prabhas and Anushka. Fight Masters Ram-Lakshman have choreographed the action sequences involving Prabhas, Mumbai Wilson, Aakash, Vishal Kaushik and few other fighters which is said to be on par with Hollywood standards.

According to producers the shooting was held in Hyderabad, Bangkok and Vizag without any break. The entire shooting part with be completed by October and the film will be released in December.
