Prabhas has acted as the main lead in the movie produced by Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateshwara Creations and considering the movie success the unit has organised a success meet at State Art Gallery, K Vishwanath, MuraliMohan, Dasaradh, Prabhas, DilRaju, Kajal, Tapsee, Sirisha, Lakshman, Sameer, Vijay, Kasi, Ravi, Srinu, Abburi Ravi, Sri Hari, Pragati and others were present at the function.

Dil raju said that movie has completed 4 weeks and has entered into 5th week movie success has made them forget the strain they have been through during the making,and thanked Vishwanath for making a film in there banner.

Kajal thanked the audience for making this a smash hit and praised Prabhas and the techincians who worked for the film.

Tapsee said that this movie was very special to her since she told her own dubbing and said that she has enjoyed every moment of working for the movie.

Prabhas said that he acted with murali mohan for his first movie and now he again acted with him and also said that it was his luck to act with Vishwanath and thanked every one for making the movie a big success.

Siddharth Rajkumar’s debut film ‘Keratam’ is being directed by Gautham Patnaik and produced by SV Babu under SV Productions banner. The grand audio launch was held at Shilpa Kala Vedika today, the 15th July. The guests include Krishnam Raju, Prabhas, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Sagar, Siddharth Rajkumar, Dasarath, RP Patnaik, Bhimineni Srinivas Rao, Rakul Preeth Singh, SV Babu, SA Rehaman, Lakshman Narayana, AVS, Shilpa, Spoorthi, Kannada actor Jagadeesh, Venkatesh, Gautham Patnaik, Venu Madhav, AVS Raju, Yathiraj and others.

Dasarath launched the audio in microchip. On the other hand Prabhas released the audio through the pen drive. The audio CDs were released by Krishnam Raju and the first copy of it was received by Prabhas.

Later while speaking RP Patnaik said, “I composed music for Prabhas’s debut film ‘Eeshwar’. I’m very happy to note that my brother is getting introduced as director. My brother entered the film industry without my support and became director with determination. I was confident about his achievement. I was also introduced as director through this banner. I thank the producers for introducing my brother also.”

Prabhas said, “My uncle is the inspiration for all of us in our family. He is the king, diamond. At the time I entered the film industry, he advised me saying that hard work and good character are essential to come up in the film industry. Our entire family will be grateful to him. Siddu is very handsome. The first shooting schedule of my debut film began with RP Patnaik’s song. I wish a grand success to this film which is being directed by his brother.”

Krishnam Raju while speaking, “Unlike Prabhas said, all my fans are my family members. I consider all those who have worked with me as my family members. SV Babu is a good producer. He said that he is a big fan of me. My fans are serving the society in the right manner and earned good name than other fans associations. I whole-heartedly thank all of them. When I visited Antharvedi, a few girls addressed me as Prabhas uncle. I’m very happy that Prabhas has grown to that extent. He has now reached a stage where I’m learning certain things from him. I needn’t produce films on our banner Gopikrishna. Prabhas will take care of it. When Siddharth expressed his desire to act in films, I said that I will not recommend him to anyone. Although he got 2-3 offers this title has immensely impressed us. Siddarth performed very well. Gautham Patnaik is a brilliant director. Everyone worked hard as a team, therefore I wish a grand success to this film.”

Siddharth Rajkumar thanked everyone for coming to the function and blessing him. He said, “I did this film as a viewer, not as a hero. I wish to grow like my uncle and my brother.”

All other guests also offered their best wishes to the film Siddharth Rajkumar and the unit members and wished for the success of audio and the film.

Prabhas wins Lux Cinemaa Critics Choice Best Actor Award

Prabhas won the critics choice Best Actor Award at the Lux Cinemaa Awards 2011 for his performance in the movie 'Darling'. The awards function was conducted by MAA TV at Hotel Novotel on the evening of 19/6/2011. Prabhas always avoids these kind of functions and expectedly did not attend this one too. The award was received by Mr.Krishnam Raju on his behalf. Though Darling deserved an award long back for his performances in Chatrapathi & Bujjigadu, atleast now, someone recognised his talent, and Prabhas is sure to win another award next year for Mr.Perfect.

Avatar Prabhas Launches Special Issue Of 'Superhit' (10/05/2011)

Darling Prabhas on Tuesday launched the special English issue of 'Superhit' magazine. This special issue comprises pictures and elaborate write ups from their recent Superhit award ceremony.


This 104 page special issue was launched at Prabhas' residence on Thursday. Director B Jaya, the owner of Superhit magazine and popular PRO B A Raju were present at the launch. This is the first ever time a Telugu film magazine has brought out a special collector's issue in English on an award ceremony.

"I have close relationship with Superhit magazine and its publishers Jaya and Raju.I saw my first film 'Eeshwar 'pictures on the cover page of Superhit magazine. Raju is close to my dad and my uncle Krishnam Raju since a long time. He has reliable information on the shares, trade reports et al.I appreciate the team for bringing out an English book on Superhit awards. I am amazed at the quality of this special issue" Prabhas said.

This contains pictures and memories of stars who attended the 20 year celebrations of Superhit magazine that was conducted recently. Just like how the film goers made the function a hit, I hope they make this special English issue also a hit" director B Jaya said.

Successful hotshot director Surender Reddy, who has directed superhit films - Athanokkade, Ashok, Athithi & Kick entered into wedlock with Deepa Reddy at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Madhapur, Hyderabad at 9:29 am. Prabhas and lots of Telugu film celebrities attended this wedding.
